Founded in 2001, Shanghai HiTeC Plastics Co. Ltd. (HITEC) is a subsidiary of Plastika Kritis Group, one of Europe’s leading producers of advanced plastic films. Headquartered in Shanghai, HITEC serves Asia, EU and the Americas for over two decades, with a commitment to quality, sustainability, and technical innovation.
In 2023, HITEC expanded its manufacturing footprint with the launch of a state-of-the-art production facility in Anhui Province, China. Strategically located to enhance manufacturing and distribution efficiencies, the Anhui plant is equipped with advanced multilayer extrusion lines as well as masterbatch production. This investment reflects HITEC’s long-term commitment to serving the Chinese market with localized production, faster lead times, and sustainable manufacturing practices aligned with global standards
Plastika Kritis Group
Founded in 1970, Plastika Kritis Group is one of the leading European producers of agricultural films and masterbatches. It has been listed in the Athens Stock Exchange since 1999. It has a strong international orientation with production plants in France, Romania, Poland, Russia, Turkey and China and exports to more than 90 countries around the world. It specializes in the production of agricultural films, polyethylene masterbatches, geomembranes and polyethylene pipes which are highly recognized by the global market.
